June 20, 2012

Our Annual Volunteer Recognition Celebration Dinner is held in June at the beautiful Bali Hai Restaurant and honors outstanding YMCA volunteer leaders. In honor of the volunteer contributions of Bob and Meredith Giantvalley that helped to open the Peninsula Family YMCA, instrumental volunteers are publicly recognized at the dinner event. Recipients are nominated by staff, fellow volunteers, YMCA members, and program participants.

The event includes a dinner, silent auction, and opportunity drawings.

With support from sponsors and event attendees, this special YMCA dinner helps subsidize program scholarships for children and families in our community.
