PreschoolThis program offers children their first experience in the pool without parental assistance. The children are taught the basic skills that are the building blocks of swimming as well as pool safety. The 30 minute class is taught by a caring, certified swim instructor and class size is such that the instructor can provide children with individual attention.
This level helps children develop safe pool behavior, adjust to the water and develop independent movement in the water. It is designed for new swimmers, teaching basic paddle stroke and kicking skills, pool safety and comfort holding the face in the water while blowing bubbles and swimming.
Eel (Lower Intermediate)
This advance beginner level reinforces Pike skills. It is for children who are comfortable in the water. They are taught to kick, dive, float, and preform the progressive paddle stroke. They also learn basic boating safety.
Ray (Higher Intermediate)
At this level children review previous skills, improve stroke skills, learn more personal water safety and rescue skills, build endurance, learn to tread water and perform more progressive diving skills. Children can swim across the pool on their front and back without assistance by the end of this level.
The most advanced level of Preschool age swim lessons. This class is for children who have been introduced to and can swim each stroke with basic proper technique. Instructors focus on advanced stroke development, endurance and swim team preparation.
